As expected, Samsung has officially launched the second version of Galaxy Note, Galaxy Note II so called “phablet” that is larger than smartphones,but smaller than tablets. Second edition have slightly larger display and more powerfull processor.
The Galaxy Note II got 5.5-inch super Amoled HD display with a resolution of 1280 x 720 with Gorilla glass 2 technology. The device is powered by a 1.6 GHz quad-core Exynos processor. This quad core smartphone + tablet edition will be the best pick for those who want to have handy option for tablets.Galaxy Note II also have 2GB of RAM, 8 megapixel rear side camera and 1.9 Megapixel front facing camera. The device is powered by 3100mAh battery. Note II is available in three variants of 16GB, 32GB and 64GB.
The Galaxy Note II runs on Android 4.1 Jelly Bean shaped with samsung’s TouchWiz Nature UX. It also comes with S-Pen digitizer and compatible S-Pen apps. It also included the pop-up-play multitasking video feature which first introduced in Samsung galaxy S III. And added feature for making notes using Pop-Up Note feature that allows users to make notes without closing the application.
The Samsung Galaxy Note II will start shipping in October in Europe and it will rolling it out worldwide after that.
