BMW Asia has announced the performance variants of the premium SUV’s, X5 M and X6 M. Both the vehicles get 4.4-litre biturbo V8 engine producing massive 554PS and 680Nm of torque. The SUVs will touch 0-100kmh in less than five seconds, and on to an electronically controlled top-speed of 250kmh.
The performance variants will be available in four new metallic colours – Zurite Black, Ruby Black, Citrine Black and Pearl Silver, along with the M body kit. There are also a few additions to the interiors like the top of the line Merino leather upholstery and entertainment package with DVD and internet connectivity. No official announcement from BMW India as yet, and we will confirm the prices shortly.
